Este disco, al igual que Gradually going Tornado, los compreá allá por 1981. Desde muy pibe era fan de la batería y desed que conocí a Bruford, nada menos que con esos discos maravillosos de Yes, Gragile y Close to the edge, me volví fan suyo. A mis 15 años tenía una foto de Bruford, supongo que de la época de King Crimson, en la pared...estos discos sencillamente son maravillosos, con músicos notables de la escena Canterbury como Allan Holdsworth, Dave Stewart, Jeff Berlin... Un gran músico, se que se ha retirado, pero creo debería seguir deleitándonos con su música.

This was the first ever cassette I bought in 1979. It was a toss up between this and Brand X Moroccan Roll. The following week I went back and bought Brand X. I still have both and they still play perfectly.

Is anyone aware that iTunes removed this album from its itinerary? I can't find it anywhere yet bought it years ago on itunes. WTH?

I can tell Eddie & Edward Van Halen were influenced by this song on "Why cant this be love". I dont know if that is true but i hear it on drums, beginning of the song, their pauses coming back in with keys. Just my observation.

Ao lançar o seu primeiro disco solo 1965 que tinha como base as musicas compostas para alguns filmes entre eles de Cacá Diegues e Ruy Guerra com o nome de "Coisas", que Moacir Santos promoveu um marco na música instrumental brasileira com este projeto que sintetizou a sua obra. Nascido em Pernambuco em 1926 já tinha na Orquestra da cidade de Flores o caminho para a música na qual aprendeu a tocar todos os instrumentos. E vivendo com uma família adotiva, saiu de casa aos 14 anos para trabalhar como músico de circo… assim surgiu o arranjador, compositor, cantor e saxofonista Moacir Santos...
